The Gonapron™ was engineered by a QC technologist with 14 years of experience in the field as an answer to the reoccurring need to purchase gonadal shields and the struggle to find and test
them on a semi-annual basis. As a Radiologic Technologist and having worked in multiple facilities he noted the same gonadal shield availability inconsistencies everywhere else. The Technologist
took a proactive approach to solve this issue and thus the Gonapron™ emerged. The name gonapron is a hybrid between the word gonad and apron.

At gonaprons.com our vision is that our product will be the practical solution that will replace conventional gonadal shielding systems. Moreover, that while its' present in a radiology department it will
be recognized as the Radiologic Technologists and patients available tool when a gonadal shield is needed.

At Gonaprons L.L.C. our mission in this world, starting with the USA, is to instill awareness in all the leaders in health care delivery today about the importance of providing consistency in gonadal
shielding to all patients. We hope to instill awareness of the opposing trends created when gonadal shields are present in a facility for a few months and then gone until replaced. The opposing trend
which is reflected on their images is created by those x-rays with shielding (mandated) and those without shielding (unlawful). We hope to empower facilities when regulatory entities screen their
images for shielding presence especially for neonates by putting this unresolved enigma to rest, thus one less thing to worry about.
